How to produce PLA material?
The raw material of PLA non-woven fabric is polylactic acid, which belongs to the most important biodegradable and environmentally friendly polymer material in aliphatic polyester. It is made from starch raw materials proposed by renewable plant resources (such as corn, cassava, etc.). become. The production process is to saccharify starch raw materials to obtain glucose, then ferment the glucose and certain strains to produce high-purity lactic acid, and then synthesize polylactic acid with a certain molecular weight through chemical synthesis.
PLA non-woven fabrics are made of polylactic acid fibers with a skin-core structure to be carded into a net and then set by hot air. The bonding process during hot air setting is mainly divided into four stages: heat transfer, flow, diffusion, and pressure cooling.
During the melting process of PLA, as the heating temperature continues to rise, a part of PLA is first melted under the action of temperature and pressure, and at the same time, with the flow and diffusion of the polymer, the fiber intersections are bonded together.
